Vaco Technology located in Richmond, VA is currently seeking a
Business Continuity Manager for one of our best clients.  The
candidate will coordinate the development of advance plans and
procedures to ensure the client can respond effectively and continue
critical services and business functions in the event of a disaster or
other significant business interruption; coordinate the design,
maintenance and testing of these plans; lead and participate in
business continuity/disaster recovery efforts including actual events.
 Project Management experience required.  Must have sufficient years
of experience to demonstrate effective knowledge and understanding of
business continuity and disaster recovery planning techniques
involving complex information systems' requirements; demonstrated
experience in leading an organization through business continuity
planning; general understanding of information technology to include
network and data center operations.  Proficiency in PC applications
and experience with VISIO, MS Word, PowerPoint, EXCEL and Access
preferred.  College degree in business, information management or
related field, or equivalent in education and work experience;
Certified Business Resilience Manager (CBRM), Certified Business
Resilience Auditor (CBRA), Certified Business Resilience IT
Professional (CBRITP), or similar designation preferred.
