Business Continuity Planner

ShoreLand Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for two (2) business continuity planners. There is a requirement for one each in both our Charleston, SC and Washington, DC offices. These positions will be responsible for analyzing business practices; developing, testing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans for major corporate and government clients; and assisting BCP steering committees.

Responsibilities will include:

• Risk Analysis
• Business Impact Analysis
• Business Continuity planning, testing and maintenance

Experience in the following areas are a plus:

• Business Continuity Planning, with emphasis on Risk Assessments and conducting Business Impact Analyses
• Business Analysis and Business Process Management

Required Skills:

• CBRM or CBRA are preferred
• Technology knowledge and skills, particularly in a LAN/WAN environment and experience in computer system architecture design/integration/configuration management
• Business Process knowledge and skills
• Consulting skills, with the ability to brief clients on a variety of issues, both BCP and business related

Some travel is expected, especially to client sites. The Washington, DC location will be mostly on-site at a client inside the Beltway. The Charleston position will incur out-of-state travel with a ShoreLand team on occasion.
