Security Management Resources, Inc.® an international executive search firm whose global practice is focused exclusively on professional and executive level corporate security positions, is seeking candidates for the following opportunity for a large conglomerate providing products and services in many markets.

TITLE: Manager Corporate Security & Business Continuity
LOCATION:  White Plains, NY
SALARY: $85K-$115K base, plus bonus, plus benefit package

SUMMARY:

Develops, plans, and directs policies and programs to control risks, prevent losses, and protect the personnel and assets of or client. Manages the client’s Security Council and the client’s Business Continuity program providing direction to security coordinators and business continuity leads at each Company Group and Value Center.
                                                                       
RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that translate goals, objectives, and risk limits and loss prevention techniques into operating standards that are consistent with management's intent and the requirements detailed in the Company Security Manual and Business Continuity procedures.
2. Manage the Company security and business continuity metrics and audit program to ensure appropriate and consistent measuring, managing, and reporting risk
3. Provides specific guidance related to DOD and other agency or government (classified) security requirements. Manages agency and Company interactions.
4. Maintain specific awareness of international business continuity and security risks. Manages the Company programs designed to ensure the security of operations, travelers and employees in high risk locations.
5. Review and approve the security program related activities of the IT Security team.
6. Manage and maintain information and data systems that identify, measure, monitor, and control risk/support loss prevention.
7. Analyze and classify risks and losses as to frequency and severity, and measure financial impact on the organization.
8. Administer the policies and procedures and indirectly manage the Security team relating to the Corporation's security program and regulatory requirements. Specific responsibility for the Company Security manual and related documents.
9. Oversee the protection of personnel and other assets throughout the corporation and its subsidiary companies with particular focus on international high risk locations.
10.  Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis.
11. Manage corporate business continuity program including selection and training of Business Continuity Leads.

COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree plus 15-20 years experience in Corporate Security/Law Enforcement and Business Continuity. Minimum 5 years corporate program management experience with specific international knowledge and experience, including protection of assets and employees in high risk areas is required.

Must have or be capable of obtaining a clearance – Top Secret & SCI
