The CBRM Seminar is a comprehensive 3-day Business Continuity planning and management training program which is designed to teach the practical methods necessary to develop, test, and maintain a Business Continuity Plan and establish an effective Business Continuity Program. This seminar is based on industry' best practices, guidelines for the BCM process, and the six stages of the BCP life cycle.

This course takes you beyond the theory and concepts, and to the actual mechanics and step-by-step methodology for developing, maintaining, and executing a successful Business Continuity and Resilience Program. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

BRCCI’-on-site training courses are provided in-house at your facilities. This course is a perfect solution for those just getting started or who would like to enhance or increase their staff’s knowledge and skills. This on-site seminar is a cost-effective means of helping you to develop an effective plan, right from the start. Our team of professionals conduct the training at your offices and facilities and are on hand to guide your staff and review your Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.

About CBRM On-Site Seminar
For up to 10 students, the fee is US$12,500 (Including optional Certification testing and processing) plus $2,500 for instructor travel and accommodation. Each student after the first 10 is charged $400 including the examination fees. BRCCI will supply presentation handbooks, workbooks, take-home Disaster Recovery Plan templates, and other related course information. Compared with off-site training, you will save US$8,950 + travel + accommodation costs for 10 students, based on the regular course fee of US$2,395+ travel + accommodations for each student.
For 3 days, classes will begin at 08.30 and end at 16.30. There will be a morning, lunch, and afternoon break.
During the course, all students will receive presentation handbooks, workbooks, take-home Disaster Recovery Plan templates and other related course information. 
Our training is provided by a team of highly skilled subject matter experts specializing in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and consulting services. All BRCCI' instructors have 10-20 years of experience related to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, management, and audit. These professionals are all experienced consultants with industry designations from BRCCI. BCI and ISC2. 
Our instructor will have a laptop and a projector. The following will also be required:

  • A standard training room with sufficient seating, chairs and desks. The preferred seating arrangement is in a classroom configuration. There is no requirement for computers or laptops.
  • A screen for the projector. A white board or flip chart is also required.
  • A backup projector is also recommended as projectors do fail from time to time.
Students will have the opportunity to take the optional Business Continuity Certification examination during the CBRM Seminar Business Continuity training course. The optional CBRM examination is given during the class, and the exam fees are included in the price above.

OVERVIEW

The training begins with a basic introduction to business continuity and then leads participants through a BC planning road-map with detailed the steps for implementing a business continuity plan and program for their organizations. The road-map consists of assessing and gathering business continuity requirements for managing a disaster; developing recovery solutions and strategies; developing business continuity plans based on requirements and solutions; testing and implementing BC solutions; maintaining BC plans; executing BC plans in the event of a disaster; and managing normalization of business

The BC planning road-map incorporates industry' best practices and guidelines for the BCM and the six stages of the BCP process:
