BRCCI – Business Resilience Certification Consortium International – Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Resilience Education

BRCCI provides professional certification programs in business resilience encompassing business continuity and IT disaster recovery, business continuity audit, and enterprise risk management. As part of this program, BRCCI offers the following four certifications:

Certified Business Resilience Manager (CBRM)
Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP)
Certified Business Resilience Auditor (CBRA)

In addition, BRCCI has a certification track leading to Masters Achievement in Business Resilience (MABR). MABR is the highest level designation that signifies that an individual has completed the following three certification requirements:

Requirement 1: The CBRM or CBRITP certification
Requirement 2: The CBRA certification
Requirement 3: A minimum of 4 years of experience in business resilience and continuity related fields

Certified Business Resilience Auditor (CBRA) Certification

The CBRA (Certified Business Resilience Auditor) is BRCCI's business resilience auditor designation. This high-demand, distinctive credential is the first of its kind, and signifies the ability of credential holder to enhance value and improve an organizations business continuity and resilience program through a systematic and standardized audit approach.

A CBRA provides independent and objective assurance and consulting expertise to organizations throughout the initiation, analysis, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance process of the business continuity and resilience program life cycle.

CPE Points

BRCCI s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Points Program (CPE Program) ensures all certified professionals continue to maintain, enhance, and develop their personal knowledge and skills in the business resilience profession once they have achieved certification. All certified professionals are required to comply with the CPE Points Program by actively participating and engaging in development activities and periodically submitting proof of such activities. Activities must be directly relevant to the field of business resilience.
